Browse Forums Paving & Concreting Re: Exposed Aggregate / Crazy Paving driveway quotes 21Oct 16, 2007 7:55 pm diffrent expossed mixs cosy diffrent amounts a standard white / cream pebble is around $80 sqm a more complex mix diffrent pebbles etc can be upto $140 sqm, the mix in the photo i would guess without knowing the actual name of it of supplier would be around the $100 - $130 a sqm plus excavation
but there is no real set sqm price the bigger the job the lower the sqm price the need for drains etc incresses the sqm price or if there as an example 100 sqm of footpaths , there would be a need for extra concreters as apoposed to a 100 sqm driveway, more edges, more wheelbarrowing etc the price for concrete is basicly as the job requires also keep in mind as apposed to a standard expossed mix there is decor pebble which is, as an example the concrete in your photo but with larger polished pebbles 'cast' through the area and there is also decor art, ie 'murals' using a contrasting colour to create lets say a giant palm tree or dolphin in the concrete there are a lot of variables when it comes to costing concrete pours confused yet? I know there is rubber etc at each end where it joins the garage and the footpath, but i mean in-between???
Normal concrete does, so is it the same with exp agg???? And if there are no joins - then how do you control / minimise the amount of cracking???? Re: Exposed Aggregate / Crazy Paving driveway quotes 26Dec 16, 2007 4:14 pm exp agg……is bonded and mixed with concrete….so yes there will be expansion joints.

these are cut with a diamond blade saw location of them will be dependant on size and shape of the pour expansion foam goes at the crossover , at the garage and any other 'hard'surface protrusions in to slab ie : brick pillars the foam takes up the expansion and contraction of the concrete if your concreter tells you they will do hand tool control joints get another concreter they look terrible in expossed Da Vinci Outdoor Living Architectural landscaping http://www.davincioutdoor.com Re: Exposed Aggregate / Crazy Paving driveway quotes 30Dec 16, 2007 5:37 pm Michelle 1 post to……1133…..
