Exposed Aggregate / Crazy Paving driveway quotes

Hi everyone, i'm new to this website and would love to know if anyone can recommend a good contractor for either exposed aggregate or crazy paving in the South Eastern suburbs in Melbourne? Thanks

There are huge displays near Cranbourne along South Gippsland Hwy and another called concretors warehouse at Keysborough- cheltenham Rd behind Bunnings... one can pick and choose the style and can easily get several quotes

Thanks vpande, i'll be sure to check them out. I also have a name for the contractor who did the Carlisle homes displays at Cranbourne Nth. I love the colours and the quality of the job, but need to wait for a quote until we are closer to completion, which will still be a while. I'm definitely keeping my eye out for good quality exp. agg. driveways as i drive each day though...

Hey Phoenix,

We are going with the same driveway (exposed aggregate) as in the Carlisle Homes display in Cranbourne Nth as well.

Going by our tender in front of me, they have an allowance of 38m2, pathway to the front door & gattic drain at a cost of $4680.00.

Hope this gives you an idea.

Thanks Mike, the colour of the driveway look fantastic, i love the hint of black in it, very different than most exposed agg d/ways around- they are all too light in colour. Works out to about $123/sqm.

We are looking at about the same area, but i will call the guy up and get a price per sqm over the phone. I'm sure Carlisle wouldn't add on too much onto the contractors pricing would they????

Regardless at $4680, that is well under our budgeted figure set for the driveway, so i'm wrapt. We had a friend pay over $8K for theirs in The Chase.

Woo hoo, more money for new furniture or home theatre gizmo's.....

expect a margin of around 20%...

Put it in your pocket and save it for other things!!

Exposed ag 100mm with rio is under $100 per metre.

Hi Troy, welcome to the forum. Can you post some pictures of some work that you have done, or even PM me some pictures of jobs.

We have just signed our contract with Henley so we are hoping to commence onsite in about a month to 6 weeks. We would anticipate to be in around May next year. It might be a bit of a wait, but i would love to have a look at some of your work or ideas.

Upon the first site consultation i have a colour portfolio with previous works i have constructed
ranging from the simple and budget wise upto marble driveways, custom sculptures, artifical rock constructed 'private' theme parks
and all diffrent tpes of concrete including expossed agg, decor pebble concrete and liquid limestone

i should be able to email a couple of pics though, if that is suitable unfortunatly that would be all i can provide, illustration wise without site consult until the web site is up and running

Hey Troy, thanks for the e-mail, i am assuming you will be able to do something similar to the sample i posted earlier in this thread with the brown/black tones in it. We don't want the lighter tones that everyone seems to get. Will definitely be chatting to you regarding a quote.
