Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Feb 20, 2010 5:12 pm Hi. My house which was built in mid '80s has plenty of paving, except for a bitumen driveway which I need to replace. The builders at the time used new blended Clifton Cream bricks laid as butt jointed pavers (no grout - see photos ~# *#~!!). The modern equivalent (by Boral) doesnt have the character and colour variation. It is now virtually impossible to find the original creams in good nick. Plenty are available thru brick recyclers - but they've all been rumbled (corners broken off etc) because of bulk handling by bobcats etc. Is it possible that anyone in Melbourne has this kind of paving still intact that they want to remove or replace? I would be interested in any amount up to about 2-3000 bricks. (I would want to lift them by hand obviously). cheers Re: melb - seeking Clifton Creams in very good condition 2Feb 27, 2010 1:43 am There are 2 home demo recovery businesses in Newlands Road Coburg North.
