I've had my portico paved with honed sandstone tiles. Unfortunately some of the have surface scratches, I'd like to remove before sealing the stone. What's the best way ??

( the scratches) Otherwise kennards but get a bigger than 4 1/2" (7" and marble diamond grinding pad) you will end up with less lateral movement and get a better job. Be careful the finish on the original is probably less fine than the pads will give you. (400grit or so) Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Mostly, 99% of the scratches dissapeared, I can live with the remaining 1%. Don't fall for the common misconception that sealers are all pretty much alike! Got any pics of the sandstone? Ash. I had 28m2 of engineered pavers laid six months back and it was difficult to find someone not taking the pi$$.
