HELP! Paving around fibreglass pool

Hi everyone,

I have been having trouble working out how to pave around my existing fibreglass pool.
I have recently removed a sunken exposed ag concrete surround and would like to pave the surround and possibly include a bullnose capping.

Problem: Raised fibreglass coping or rim around the pool..

Can any of you offer advice about;
A) Sticking bullnose pavers to this fibreglass surround (I've heard it can be done)
B) Paving flush to the same height as the fibreglass surround (WITHOUT paving sinking at all later)
C) Any other ideas that work better

I believe that the previous concrete sunk because of the "void" or empty space underneath the raised fibreglass edge which caused the water run off to slosh around underneath and erode the sand away from underneath the concrete. I would HATE for this problem to reoccur after spending the time and money on a nice new paving job

Please any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
I would love to hear any lessons learned from others out there

you need a flexible rubber based tile adhesive for the pool copping
if you have had sinking before look and shaft vibrating the pool beams
but make sure the pool is ful of water when you do this
all of the paving i do for my clients is on a concrete slab around a pool it is advisable to pour a beam of conc after shaft vibration this stops the sinking
if your pool has been in for some time you probably dont need to shaft vibrate just a plate compaction
if you pave on a compacted crushed rock base and sand over time you will have the same problem but this will take from 6 mnths to 2 odd years paving around pools should always be on a conc base
but if your doing it your self sand is the easiest option
