Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 19, 2009 3:05 pm Hi Guys Im having trouble finding a product for a permeable driveway in Melbourne. The reason it needs to be permeable is that: 1. Our new house will take up 60% of the block and 2. The developers perfer a permeable surface for water catchment So far Ive only found StoneSet - resin bound pebbles (currently waiting on pricing) Others Ive seen are part grass / part gravel and then theres always lilydale topping (which we'd rather not due to bringing dirt into the house) any advice would be much appreciated Building: M3tr1c0n - Santorini 26 [30.04.10] Builders on Site [29.11.10] Handover [11.12.10] Moved in [CURRENTLY] Moved in and adding all those extras we couldnt pay our builder to do http://mnsantorini.blogspot.com Re: Permeable Driveway 2Nov 30, 2009 3:32 pm Hi faerie, Check out Boddingtons, they are in Melbourne and sell Bodpave which is a recycled plastic paving grid, designed to be filled with gravel or grass... Also Elmich sell a similar product to B0ddingt0ns, called turfP@ve. Hope this helps Edited by a Mod, if you have a link better you PM it, other readers can easy google it To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9863 |
