Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 04, 2009 8:23 pm Hi, Im after some advice from someone that knows more about paving than i do, I have drawn up a plan of the yard and i was hoping someone could give me some advise on the areas in the backyard i want to pave. I have already got all my paver's but i'm scratching my head getting the base course levels and what the best way is to fall it From what i have read i need around 25 - 30mm fall per 1m and fall it towards the drains obviously but in a small area this seems like a big drop so any advice is appreciated Its a new house and my mate did the levels roughly when he was doing the slab so that helps me out a bit The plan is in a .pdf to scale but added some measurements just in case, sorry the board attachment limit was reached so had to put a link in to it http://www.4shared.com/file/146154357/4 ... y_mod.html Thanks Ash Re: Help with paving levels 2Nov 18, 2009 12:55 pm Hi, sorry to see no reply to ur question, from my point of view & being a very old school (in age) all slope i use on concrete is 25mm in 2.0m dont think pavers would be much different. but a word of warning if there is any area which is on the weather side of ur house, i'd use 35mm per 2.0m to get water away from building line as quick as possible. hope that might help - cheers tony.
