Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 01, 2009 9:51 am Hi there - I would be really interested to hear from anyone with advice on a driveway. The situation is this - the block is a battleaxe and no driveway has been put in since it was subdivided - so it is all grass still. It is probably about 80-90 metres long. The land slopes down gently and currently there are a couple of shabby retaining walls across it (loose stone) where the land changes gradient. Do you have any advice as to what we should do for the build? The owner said that he had planned to construct a temporary driveway using loose stone whilst the lorries were accessing the site and then construct a nice driveway once everything is completed. How hard is this to do? This is our first foray in to building and we have no idea about these things! Look forward to some advice - thank you!!!
