I have thought of a few:
- * The house is at the top of a slope, so anyone parking in the street will obstruct the vision of other cars coming up the slope (and hence won't necessarily see cars coming the other way)
* Parked cars in the street will force other cars to move to wrong side of the road to get around - this problem is compounded by the above point in that you can't see until you're right there.
* It provides a larger area for vehicles off the street (related to the first point), particularly since the street is on the local bus route
* It provides easier access for cars entering and exiting the garage (basically you get to drive straight in, you don't need to maneouvre from the single width area to the double width area
Any suggestions or success stories would be greatly appreciated!
