Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Jul 08, 2009 8:36 am Hi All, first time poster here seeking your advice I have a question relating to some concrete slab footings that I need to put in to support and water tank & stand. The slab footings are required to support a slimline 1160 Lt tank with stand. The stand is 1800mm wide & 500mm deep. Would my calculations be correct in suggesting that I could get away with 2 slab footings 700mm x 300mm x 100mm Deep? If so, would it also be correct in suggesting that I could do this with two 30 Kg bags of General Purpose Cement? As this is my first time attempting a concrete project including, I would very much appreciate your thoughts! Looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks! Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 17394 yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 7316 PM me your email.
