Hey mate I work @ a company called Burwell Technologies, supply blasting equipment, abrasives etc. Give the melbourne branch a call, ask for Simon and he should be able to put you onto someone who can help. As for the soda blasting....awesome stuff. Its gentle (used mostly in food plants & aviation industries) & clean up is a breeze. Hoses away, pretty much. (just bicarbonate soda sprayed @ high pressure)Anyway, the number for Melb office is (03) 9369 3901. Hope this helps you out bud.....
Re: sandblasting 3Jun 26, 2009 7:27 am The soda stuff sounds like it would be easier to clean up Fu. Usually sandblasters use garnet which not only adds cost but it goes everywhere too, red sand all over the place. Does the bicarb do just as good a job? Re: sandblasting 4Jul 01, 2009 11:56 pm mate it craps on sand blasting. In automotive applications, you can soda blast a car and not have to remove seals. won't harm glass. Takes the paint off very well and is forgiving on the surface. The soda is stupidly easy to clean up. I was thinking of the uses on concrete floors. Would be good for cleaning off glues and contaminants. I think you could stuff around and get some good effects in time. Would be good for cleaning up brickwork! http://www.sodablast.com.au/main.php |
