You can walk on it the next day, but carefully as it can scuff up the surface. Concrete goes hard overnight but it's the curing that takes time and makes it stronger. The longer it takes to cure generally means it will end up stronger also. In warmer weather it is recommended to keep it moist or covered to stop it drying too quick. Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home.
