Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Apr 09, 2009 10:09 pm We will shortly be building a retainer wall around our property...The wall will eventually be rendered and painted to match the house....QUESTION: If we build it in standard Limestone Blocks, can it be rendered succsessfully (I hear it needs some sort of additive), or should we build it with Grey (reconstituted) blocks to help the render adhere to it.... same price for both, just not sure which is better any help appreciated PK DH Re: RENDERING A RETAINER WALL...WHICH BLOCK TYPE TO USE....???? 2Apr 10, 2009 11:46 am I'm just bumping this in the hope someone can still help.
