Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Mar 18, 2009 1:19 pm Hi All,
reading the forum looks like its about $3K to do a 40sqm concrete driveway. I have been getting some quotes and i think i can get Daniel Robertson paving for about$1200 for 40sqm plus i've been quoted $45/sqm for laying concerete and about $500 for river sand. Is it possible for me to lay concerete about 200mmm thick and allow 80-100mm to the surface to lay the sand and pavers. This will cost me $1200 + $500 + $1.7K = $3.4K plus a weekend and maybe a couple hundred to rent the machine. So for another $500-$600 i get a much better outcome than concrete. thoughts? is it possible? thanks smeags ---->Some say that a recession is when your neighbour loses his/her job while a depression is when you lose yours!<----- As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant.
