Some contracts are for placement only so check it out...IMHO Sealing is between $7-12 sq mtr depending on location, ie coastal etc onc Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Any idea how much the quote would be approximately for exposed aggregate? or stamped concrete? Something which gives contemporary looks a bit of black/dark colour stone combined with grey colour background. I saw your comment in this thread regarding grinding and polishing? sounds interesting. is it expensive? Prolly around $45-55sq, you end up with heaps of little mirrors Lots of flash houses with big exposed/inlays etc have the grind and polish effects. It needs to be well exposed aggregate at least 6mm, other wise you would end up with polished concrete, if ya know what I mean Where you are coming from is where you are going to... I rang one of them and he gave us a good quote for Exposed aggregte - $90 per sq mt. So we are getting our driveway done end of March. Will post pics once they are done. hi Archieein i"m also building my house in epping ... so by now your driveway must be done . are you satisfied with the concretor... if yes plz give me detail of that guy... also post the pics... I was just worried if you have clay soil (mine is H-D class) how badly will exp agg crack - or would this only happen much further down the track? Almost finished building the Ambrose + study villa with McCracken homes in Park Holme, SA. Only painting, stormwater, paving & flooring left then moving in. Last year I had a gas leak at my house. 3 days later, I have about 1 sqm of my exposed aggregate paving broken up.
