Any recommendations on concretors doing exposed aggregate driveways? What is the price you paid for yours? I think mine might need some levelling out and works before, with a small slope. Can anyone explain the difference between exp ag and pebblecrete - same or different? We saw one called "salt", grey and white pebbles with a scattering of brown, and the sample looks perfect with our Chocolatto bricks. I rang Mentone PreMix and they gave me details of concretors in the suburb where we are building - Epping, Melbourne. I rang one of them and he gave us a good quote for Exposed aggregte - $90 per sq mt. So we are getting our driveway done end of March. Will post pics once they are done. He is a member here and he does excellent work! Re : Exposed Aggregate 14Mar 13, 2009 1:09 pm Hello, we did ours via the builder. The standard is I think GunMetal normal concrete but we had an excellent C@rlisle Homes site supervisor then, he informed us when the concretor came to put up the pins so we caught the Builder Concretor and paid extra to have exposed. They are a team of three, Geoff, Peter & Beau and very good job. To overcome this use a concrete grinder to remove the top of the aggregate, it also give a reflective appearance.
