Any way... really excited about the handover finally taking place soon. So now i am looking to get my driveway concreted. We have already had a quote for 6k just for the front drive way about 5x6m, porch and a slab at the back around 6x3.5m. Pluse 2k for the council cross-over. (all stenciled) This is my first quote -will be getting another two just to match prices. But can anyone tell me if this is reasonable? Also does stamped concrete cost more than stenciled? Thanks . Re: Stencil or Stamped? Cost per sq m. 3Jan 21, 2009 1:53 pm Might get some more help, if you mention which state you are in Re: Stencil or Stamped? Cost per sq m. 4Jan 21, 2009 2:57 pm I think davino is in NSW
Our builder is doing all this - sorry I can't help! But you're in Fairfield Council - just drive around and see if anyone's yard looks new - ring the doorbell and ask. (I have seen plenty of concreted front yards in Cabramatta etc ) After 4 years - we're in! Re: Stencil or Stamped? Cost per sq m. 5Jan 21, 2009 5:13 pm We just had 72sqm of colour-through stencil driveway, porch and paths done. We were charged $60sqm and our guy said the price was the same for stencil or stamped. Going by other quotes $60sqm was at the lower end of the scale.
