Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Jan 13, 2009 5:40 pm I'm building an outside raised deck. Its about 500mm high. Its has double brick walls and I've solid filled it.
Originally I was going to concrete the top and then tile it, but Ive changed my mind and want to pave it. My question is, should I lay a thin concrete slab and then pack in fine bluemetal, or would it be ok to consolidate the fill and then pack in say, 300mm of bluemetal and then bedding sand?
