Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Jan 05, 2009 8:25 am I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good concretor in the Ipswich area (Karalee to be precise). I want to concrete a 1.2 m wide footpath around my house (about 40m worth). Also, any idea about what price it would cost for a foot path as it doesnt need to carry a vehicle. Re: Concreting contractor in Ipswich area 2Jan 10, 2009 7:54 am I just had a rear patio done by Anaconda Concreting...
Give Lex or Sharon a call on 3420 5055... Very professional... Excellent job.. And the cheapest quote I got for 40m2.... Tell em Chris from The Gap put you onto him! Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Mainly the building part!! Re: Concreting contractor in Ipswich area 5Jan 12, 2009 10:29 am Hi Stu,
Is excavation required? My husband and I have a concreting business in Brisbane so I can give you and idea on pricing if you can give me an idea re excavation Cheers K Re: Concreting contractor in Ipswich area 6Jan 13, 2009 8:02 am Very little excavation as i have already prepared the area 95% (just a little levelling out around the house perimeter) There is easy access all around the house for a truck as well. We also live about 8 minutes from the Tivoli CEMEX cement factory which makes organising mixers very easy.
I would also like to colour the concrete a light tan colour or exposed agregate. If the price is good enough we may even do our whole driveway which is another 100m SQ. It will be neat but you won't have much freeboard. At least they are not weep holes. Are you in a high intensity rainfall region? The regulatory slope is only required… 3 8267 We've had decent weather for last 7 weeks and now the drvieway has been cut out we had an evening of 50mm of rain including all the water from half the street, ground is… 0 4474 Just get as close as you can without hitting the posts. Once you are close to the edge of the path the chance of cracking is minimised. 7 9177 |
