Hi, I'm in the process of making a footing with two pieces of trench mesh (4L12TM ) at the top and bottom. I'm wondering if anyone knows how far beneath the top of the concrete the top piece of trench mesh needs to sit?
I also have a circular 42mm steel pipe running through the footing. I'm planning on covering this with two layers of closed cell foam, which will result in about 100mm of concrete between the top of the foam covered pipe and the top of the concrete.. does anyone know if this is ok?

Make sure you don’t dig below footing base level, so you don’t undermine your foundation. Also the backfilling of trench need to allow for stormwater to drain away… 1 1122 MATE!!!
