I want to
- make it a flat concrete surface so it's easier to maintain
- add some surface drainage at places as there was zero done when they first constructed the place
For 1, I read that it's not possible to "lay" over existing concrete as fresh concrete won't bond. Is there any other way/materials that can be used to surface over this? Or is the only way to rip it out and re-do the whole thing? I don't really mind if adding something on to that'll "lift" the driveway, and would actually like it slightly higher.
For 2, is this possible without ripping the whole thing out? How much would I be looking at if I want to add existing drainage to this? My land slopes inward instead of out towards the road, so point of discharge is somewhere below ground at the back unfortunately
Also side question. I had a botched drainage work done previously by a plumber and part of the existing concrete has already been removed as shown below

It was suppose to have drainage to prevent surface water running under the house when it's pouring. However since it's botched, if ripping out/re-doing the whole driveway prove too costly, is there a way to "repair"/"re-concrete" this section?...
