I have a waffle slab and need to protect the slab from water ingress. The concrete must drain the water away from the slab. and it must hold it's position over time so as not to lose this function of draining the water away. I have enlisted a concretor but am unsure what to look for in their procedure to ensure they are doing everything properly. If someone with expertise or experience could comment that would be great.
