Hi ,
I recently got a second crossover done on my titled land . As there is a neighbouring empty lot . So I went to my block just to make sure the crossover didn’t breach into the neighbouring empty land.
My block width is 19 m .My other side is a double crossover half shared by the other property
When I did the measurement from the fence to the end of the new crossover it measured 19.3m at the property boundary and 20 m at the kerb .
I called my concreter and asked him if this was a mistake and he said he simply followed the pegs .
My question is does the council inspector check the measurements before concrete pour-in ?? Or is there any ways the pegs could be placed wrongly ?
Please advise what should I do and if there was a mistake who should be held responsible ?
Thanks
