Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 May 20, 2021 5:42 pm I cant find any Australian standards on this, but next door to us they are constructing a property which will have an elevated driveway on our boundary. My concerns (and these might be unfounded) are possible storm water runoff issues into our property from the proposed driveway. Although I know this will be highly unlikely, there might also be potential safety issues with this situation, as the only barrier on the edge of this driveway will be just the timber boundary paling fence. Does anyone know if there are any NCC requirements, Australian Standards, etc that might provide some guidance about elevated driveways / ramps? I am aware of Section 16 of the Water Act 1989 (Vic) in regards to controlling storm water, but would be grateful if anyone has any advice for this matter. As per title, unsure if my land doesn’t have enough fill. The house on the left seems to have higher elevation. Not sure if the empty lot in between has just been… 0 560 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 16286 |
