However I am stuck on the drain , it is an old metal pipe. It has a top lip , that I am hoping to cut flush with concrete. And then simply putting a puddle flange inside. I’m just wondering, can I do that ? It will be basically free standing in the hole. Do I need to somehow join the two? Once waterproofed and tiled it will be firm.
