I am in Victoria.
I have four adjacent rooms: Bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bathroom, study.
I would like to turn Bedroom 2 into WIR and ensuite and relocate bathroom to the study, and then turn the existing bathroom into a study. No structural work is involved.
Do I need a building permit?

According to others on this forum from Victoria, yes you do. In my part of the world , as long as you're not changing windows etc or any other part of the external fabric of the house even if there were some structural changes, our council couldn't give two hoots. YMMV as they say.
