Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 02, 2007 1:48 pm I've been tiling the laundry floor in our new laundry. It also has a shower and toilet.
I decided I'd do the toilet the old fashioned was and 'set' it and then screed the floor and tile - what a pain its been cutting federation style mosaic tiles around the toilet pan. Lesson learnt - for the bathroom ( federation style ) I'm going the modern way and tiling the floor and silicon and screw the pan to the tiles!!! Re: floor tiles and toilets 3Jan 03, 2007 6:46 am I knew it was the 'modern' way to do it - I just prefer old fashion methods sometimes. The new toilet is set and screwed - it will never move. As for the tiling there is no difference in looks just the time it took to do. Re: floor tiles and toilets 4Jan 05, 2007 11:56 am Good day Dukekamaya
