Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: No floor waste in wet areas - problem? 3Nov 17, 2019 3:40 am judder We've moved into a double storey house, built I think early 2010s, probably 2013 I'm guessing. Unfortunately, the ensuite upstairs, bathroom upstairs and laundry (ground floor) all don't have floor waste pipes built in. I understand that for 99% of the time we are safe from flooding...the only real potential threat I see is the washing machine somehow leaking or the upstairs bathroom overflowing from the kids by accident. I'm not too concerned about the ensuite as it's just me and the Mrs and there is no bathtub anyway. Can this be retrofitted somehow? Upstairs I wouldn't expect an issue but the Laundry is a bit of a tough ask? It's a concrete floor. Thanks. It will smell. Regardless if it has the u bend. They only usually smell when a not often used bathroom waste dries out. Stewie All sorted guys. Just needed to buy a blade with the correct bush.
