I’m not overly happy with the slither between the bathroom and the hallway- it’s not cut straight and I feel it should be somewhere less visible. Should this smaller tile that has been cut be near the bath in the bathroom? A good tiler will avoid narrow slivers such as this by adjusting the layout so that larger cuts are evenly made at both sides of the surface. Unfortunately, you didn’t have a good tiler. What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength. I has no Asbestos in it.
