I'm currently building a house with a combined bathroom/laundry that has an open shower in the corner as in the above picture. Just the back and one side wall are tiled. On the floor is commercial vinyl coved 150 mm up the wall. The vinyl is the waterproofing layer for the floor so that should be straightforward, but am after advice for how extensive the waterproofing should be behind the tiles. Should we just do the general vicinity of the shower and around the window, or go all out and do both walls behind all of the tiling?
Thanks for any advice.
