Dear all...Long time lurker first time poster
Was wondering if I can get some help from you guys...
We recently bought/moved into a house. The bathroom has been renovated. (I think fairly recent say 1 year old...) There is constant sewer odor smell. I tried to identify where the smell come from and it is fairly difficult.
- I fill vanity with water and leave the rest open the smell persist.
- I fill vanity with water + cover the floor waste the smell persist.
it then lead me to think the odor smell comes from the toilet.
- I tried white vinegar + baking soda + hot water in the toilet and the smell persist.
PS. There is no blockage in the toilet or floor waste etc. I poured about 10L of water into the toilet and it drains fine.

Did you try pouring water into the floor waste hole (not the shower drain). Sometimes when that gets dry it starts to smell.

Could the smell be coming through the ceiling fan?

I didn't ask about the floor waste.
You are getting mixed up by posting the same thread on multiple forums.
