Now the tiler has said he will be putting that rounded edging on the corners and around the tiled cutout (shampoo, soap section) Does everyone have this put on, is it absolutely necessary? I pictured it more square, tile against tile. We are also having strips of aluminium as a feature after every row along the length of the wall, going around into the shower and along the inside wall of the recess. I am sure I have seen others without the edging, must find photos. Re: Walk-In Shower Recess 10Sep 28, 2008 10:18 am Yes it makes sense thanks. In my bathroom now we have a step up to the bath and then where the top of the bath tiles meets the sides is exactly how I want it done, (does that make sense?) There is no need to have the edging strips if it's done right. Electrical just got back to me and said the most they can provide is a single power point on the Bedroom 1 side of that wall.
