darn Jo k I wish I'd seen this pic before. With the large cabinet I'd planned I couldn't figure out what to do about lighting ( for the rare makeup putting on times) so went for a downlight. if i'd seen your cupboard setup then an above mirror light could have worked well. is that what you have? Re: Placement/size of mirror.....can't change!!!!!! 23Sep 13, 2008 4:03 pm Yeah, sorry have chopped the light off in the picture!
It is one that is around 800mm long & takes three globes.......has a frosted glass cover with stainless ends.... I'm really happy with how the cupboards turned out.....nearly decided not to have them when I got worried that they would look funny - I hadn't really seen anything like it, just new I wanted my deodorant, makeup etc up high. I've found if I have to keep going to the drawers in the vanity I end up with everything sitting on top of the vanity..... Re: Placement/size of mirror.....can't change!!!!!! 24Sep 24, 2008 4:44 pm Update: OK.... I've cracked it little with M3tricon.... apparently it is too late to change the size of the mirror. Umm we haven't even signed off on construction drawings....
This isn't a big deal... I'm gonna talk to the SS when we start building... if he still says no way.... it doesn't matter. The mirror we can use somewhere else and we'll just get a bigger one. This is a "pick your battles" decision and there'll be bigger ones to fight and there are ways around this that won't actually make any difference to us.... just gonna let it slide. Don't get why we can't just increase the size BUT we got to change our kitchen cupboard selection and that was more important. Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Hi all, My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room. We have a large N/W facing window and are wanting to have a wood slow… 0 13719 Move your linen into laundry and access laundry from your present linen space 1 7998 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Ditto 3M Claw, expensive but best thing I've used to date.
