Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Nov 19, 2018 12:39 pm hi All, We are the bathroom stage now and our buikder has asked us for the faucets that we would like to use. i want all black faucets like the one in picture. am confused if i can use a Tall basin mixer on an undermounted basin at all? is it goinf to look awkward. the bathroom coonsultant said it will look wierd as the tall mixers are generally for basin bowls on top of counter. Any thoughts or experiences? also what would you recommend, an undermounted basin or the ocunter top bowl basin? also what do u guys think of the faucets coming out from wall? We also have above bench bowls, look good but probably a little more cleaning involved to keep them nice compared to an undermount setup. I’ll get a picture of them and post for you. As for the company, have any of you used Contop or Sedo Ikon for their Bathroom fixtures? Re: wall basin mixer or regular basin mixer? 5Nov 19, 2018 3:29 pm thanks for the picture Gilly. Are you really tall? becasue i am a bit short and throught that the mixers coming out of wall mean that i have to put the mirror higher. And wont be able to see more of myself in the mirror instead of when i put a regular mixer. thanks Re: wall basin mixer or regular basin mixer? 6Nov 19, 2018 4:01 pm Taniaimran thanks for the picture Gilly. I’ve never thought about it actually, the vanity top, bowls, taps, mirror position are all ideal to us and I’d suspect 95%+ of the adult population. You’d have to be freakishly tall or short for the mirror placement to be an issue. 🤔 Re: wall basin mixer or regular basin mixer? 7Nov 19, 2018 4:24 pm thanks for the reply. will kepp posted what we chose and the final look.
