I've lived in a lot of houses and experienced bathrooms from desperate dumps to heavy floor & wall marble. Now I'm in a 1920s house that needs a bathroom rennovation. The thing is that the current bathroom has old cream lino on the floor - and I like it !
Not that it'll stay of course, the whole bathroom will be gutted, but I like the feel underfoot. And it's easy to clean. And warmer than tiles. And less slippery. And softer (for the the kids) in case of accidents.
So I'm thinking that I'll get some sort of lino-esque floor covering in the new bathroom instead of tiles.
is this odd ? Are there any good lino-style coverings or are they all just rubbish at the cheapskate end of the rennovation market ?
Thoughts ?
