I figured this is the best spot to put this as its to do with the laundry.
I've decided the Laundry/toilet will be the first major room I tackle. So this is what needs to be done-
1. Tiles removed & replaced
2. Trough removed & replaced (it's a lovely army green at the moment)
3. Cistern replaced so that it matches the pan (they are different colours)
4. Minor patching to walls
5. Install small storage/linen cupboard & overhead cabinet
6. Replace doors to toilet & laundry
7. Repaint
What a list!
I know when Dad had the flooring laid at an old house he removed the tiles himself and saved some money but since we are estranged I can ask him the details. Is this normal?
How hard would it be to remove them myself & could I do a course on tiling to do the tiling myself and save more money?
