Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 20, 2017 6:07 pm G'day all, I have a freestanding bath to install and something has me worried and confused. Its a concrete floor and I'm wondering how I put the waste pipe in the exact right spot it needs to be to line up with the bath tub plug and waste? If set the pipe in the wrong spot by even 30 mm it will obviously cause a few problems. Also, how do I screw in the plug and waste attached to the pipe when the pipe is sticking out of the floor? Do I install a larger diameter PVC pipe and have a short piece attached to the bath plug and waste and drop that into the floor would anybody know? I'm confused as to how I do this with a freestanding as I know I would have access and a little room to play with if I were installing an older type bath to do this before I boxed it in and tiled it. Any advice or know how much appreciated. Thanks Geoff Re: Lining up floor waste 2Aug 11, 2017 7:54 pm Why don't you contact a very good contractor.
