Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Reasonable price for heatlamps 2May 25, 2017 10:21 am I guess you mean the whole device, not just the lamp/bulb. It depends on the brand and configuration. IXL Tastic Neo double-heat/light/fan combo is probably the most expensive, and that will set you back $675 from Bunnings, but there are much cheaper brands. I'm afraid you'll have to provide much more information before anyone can give you an informed answer. Alternative, just search the web for the item cost and then factor in installation. I'd suggest that unless the builder has old stock, you'll probably get a newer style with an LED globe such as the two I have attached. Interestingly, the cheaper of the two has the stronger fan (390m3/h vs 180m3/h), which would be better. Anyway, based on those prices, and including installation and builder markup, $418 isn't too far off. I doubt you'd get it done cheaper after the build unless you are getting mates rates from an electrician friend. Moreover, these have to be ducted and this will need to be considered during the build process. If you are trying to save, there might be better areas to target. I've been told $4-5k/sqm is reasonable in Perth. 2 11249 Wow I hadn't realised things had gotten that pricey in just a couple of years since I built, that is crazy with how much land is now costing if you aren't lucky enough to… 3 7211 Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35558 |
