Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 28, 2017 11:00 am Hey all, Recently found this forum and its brilliant - but need ask a burning question.... I have a small issue which I am now over analysing and over thinking something relatively simple. I have knocked out the wall between my bathroom and what was a separate toilet and will now effectively combine the two but separate by a cavity slider. (this is to make use of the dead space in front of the toilet - which was the existing door - for cupboard space. The lock can be on either side of the door. Anyway, after sitting on the loo and visualising which way the door will shut and then lock I have over thought it and now confusing myself.... Which way should the cavity slider open/close and then lock once your inside? There is room either side to install it. Obviously not to scale. The dotted line is the wall in which the slider will be installed.
