Not sure which is the best bowl shape 8Mar 04, 2017 8:15 am I'm going to get a rimless toilet for my main loo. They are designed to need as little cleaning as possible and are marvellous. However, they aren't exactly cheap. That's why my ensuite doesn't get one. Re: Toilets. Not sure which is the best bowl shape 9Mar 04, 2017 8:17 am Ps the "useless replies" actually both made me smile, and I'm sure I'm not the only one so they weren't exactly useless afterall. It's also impolite to react to the "useless" responses but ignore the helpful ones. Re: Toilets. Not sure which is the best bowl shape 10Mar 04, 2017 8:18 am Thank you for advice. The design of the bowls differ so much. Are some shapes better than others? Searching for the perfect block of land on the Gold Coast is mission impossible! Re: Toilets. Not sure which is the best bowl shape 11Mar 04, 2017 8:26 am With the rimless bowls, they are designed to not have anywhere mess can hide. There are as few little ridges etc as possible, and as much waterflow as possible. The one I am going for is by Roca. It's reasonably low which puts you in a healthier position for pooping, and has the fewest little hidey places. Not sure which is the best bowl shape 12Mar 04, 2017 11:24 pm bank We tried to avoid anything with too much of a "shelf". We used to live in a rental that had three toilets all with a flat bit in the bowl above the water line. It was the most ridiculous piece of design that i have ever seen. You pretty much had to clean it after every use. I think part of the problem was that the hole was too far forward to make a splash landing, if you get my drift THIS!!! The house my parents are currently renting has a small 'shelf' on the back of the toilet, hey it looks great but you need to clean it EVERY SINGLE TIME anyone does a #2, it's horrendous! Do yourself a favor and avoid those designs like the plague!
