Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Oct 20, 2016 3:45 pm I have a spout that I've taken off for a job but the job's delayed and I need to put it back on for a couple of weeks. Obviously, I don't want to get a plumber in to screw in a spout (due to call out fees) but I'm having trouble getting it tight enough. It is mounted on the bench. When I slot it through, I can find the 'bolt' underneath and can screw it on by hand. But I can't get it tight enough by hand so that it doesn't leak. I can't use a standard shifter as there are horizontal pipes in the way, running just below the 'bolt'. I need something like a long-nosed shifter but I don't know if these exist. Any ideas?
