Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 04, 2016 6:05 pm Hi. I'm attempting a reno on our laundry. Like a lot of laundries, its a small box. To try and maximize the space available,I'd like to wall mount the electric clothes dryer in the corner, with the washer on the floor in the corner underneath. Is this possible ?? I've tried searching online for info, but have come up with nothing. Also has anyone used wall cabinets as base cabinets and just added legs ? Again, its a space issue.Apart from getting the cabinets custom made { big bucks} most are too deep for the space I have. Lots of questions I know, but if anyone could help me out,I'd really appreciate it. Thanks Rosi Re: Laundry reno 3Jul 05, 2016 9:47 am With custom cabinetry could you just have open shelves made to fit your space with a hanging rail above? Saves space and still allows you to have them made to fit your room? Re: Laundry reno 4Jul 09, 2016 10:55 am Thanks for the replies. What I meant by mounting the clothes dryer in the corner is across the corner. Thinking I would need to get a mounting bracket fabricated as no one seems to sell them. The hooks on the standard brackets are not long enough, when put across the corner.
