Tiled to the ceiling but beside the bath on either side we wont tile up the wall at all. Is that silly? The builder thinks we should tile beside it but the look of having one wall tiled appeals to me. Not quite the same but we are tiling to the ceiling on the walls with tiles and leaving the walls with nothing on them plaster. I've seen it in a display and it looked great, not odd at all. In this case the walls were a similar colour to the tiles so I almost didn't even notice, but at the same time it was a nice contrast to all the tiles. If that's not something that's an issue because of the size or shape of the room then it could be a nice feature. But make sure the wall colour compliments.
