Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jun 05, 2016 10:49 am I have a question. Back before the prevalence of flick mixers if you wanted to change your bathroom/kitchen taps it was (generally) a simple matter of buying new taps, removing the old handle, trims, maybe replacing the spindle, fit new and job done. Worst possible issue could be mismatched tile cuts around the trims. Now days it seems as if mixer taps are the way to go. So my question if you wanted to down the track, change/modernise mixer taps is the hardware in the wall common enough to allow this to happen easily? Clearly not talking about special mixers that have spouts and the like built in, just plain mixers like the one below.
