Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 May 21, 2016 5:46 pm Hi Guys, I'm building in brookwater, QLD and currently the house in the lockup stage. The other day when I checked my bathroom wall tiles, the grout gap looks too wide to me. I measured it and it was 5mm -6 mm which didn't look right. My builder confirmed wall tiles, gap is 3 mm but my supervisor called back and said, because of the type of tiles, the gap looks big and the gap is measuerd differently and the gap is in fact correct. Tiler would have used 3mm spacers. Looks neat Re: Does this look right?? 9May 26, 2016 8:31 am Rikesh Yes they are round edge tiles..i guess from what you guys are saying this is normal for round edged ones. This is quite normal for round edge tiles. Rectified tiles get a smaller gap.
