Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 06, 2016 11:12 pm Hi, Find below photo's. Does anyone know how to make a terrazzo mixture that will look similar to the black terrazzo in the photo's? The photos are from an existing terrazzo floor that we would like to extend. The terrazzo itself is a 10mm layer that is applied on top of a concrete slab. I am looking for how to create a terrazzo mix to extend an existing floor with terrazzo. I found this link http://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to ... zzo-floors The cement I could buy in a hardware shop but the stone and marble chips mix? Any ideas? Re: Terrazzo floor 4Mar 07, 2016 4:31 pm I'm unsure. Maybe contact one of the large terrazzo tile suppliers like these guys http://www.terrazzo.net.au/ The biggest problem apart from sourcing those chips will be getting a color consistent to what you already have. I've seen some terrazzo steps replaced on a few sets of stairs and the guys haven't quite got the colour right. They tended to stick out from the rest of the stairs.
