Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 17, 2015 1:34 am Hello peeps, OK I have a property in Taigum north Brisbane, its a 3 bed 2 bath, its a live in. I am looking for a poll also feed back, think of yourselves as potential buyers, what would be more appealing also which would have a better resale ? here are 2 options for my reno: 1. An ensuite that is 4.87m x 1.95m with standard stuff and two person spa bath all top noch plus built ins in the main 3.3m x .53m or, 2. A walk in robe 1.95m x 1.95m attached to an ensuite 2.85m x 1.95m with the standard stuff in it but top notch and the built in as above. cheers in advance. Re: WIR Plus Ensuite or Massive ensuit with spa bath 2Dec 17, 2015 8:37 am Do you have plans you can show of the proposed options? I'd generally go with the extra space for the robe, but 1.95x1.95 isn't all that big. If you're running hanging down each side of that, you get 3.9m total hanging length, but if it's L-shaped hanging, there's only about 2.8m clear hanging length, which is less than the 3.3m of the existing built-ins. Are you looking at keeping the existing built-in robes in either case? Re: WIR Plus Ensuite or Massive ensuit with spa bath 3Dec 17, 2015 9:54 am I have plans of what I want, I will try and post them today. Yes the built in would stay. It is not L shape it is straight and will have nice Ikea storage solution on each side like his and her sides Re: WIR Plus Ensuite or Massive ensuit with spa bath 4Dec 17, 2015 12:09 pm Forget the spa. Most people I know that have either installed them or bought a house that already had one installed have only used them half a dozen times. After the novelty wears off after a few months they almost never get used again. Unless you have back/knee problems of course in which case they can be very therapeutic. If not then the space they take up could be much better utilised. Stewie 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6211 We are building a house that was planned to be clad in Hardie Linea, our builder has now requested to swap this for BGC Nuline Plus.
