Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Nov 28, 2015 5:18 pm Hi all, I'm looking at putting some vinyl flooring down in my bathroom as I'm over the 1970's beige look and can't afford to rip the tiles up and relay new ones, it's a fairly small area 2800 x 1300 but I'm not sure what to do with the drain in the middle of the floor, can you simply just lay the vinyl over it or do I need to make some holes to allow for water to drain away ? It has a flush style grate, so unless i can get a new grate with a lip to hold the vinyl in place I'm not sure what the options are ? Also any recommendations for what vinyl to lay, thickness etc. Thanks for looking and any replies Hi l plan to install a self adhesive vinyl plank floor. l first need to attach masonite boards underlay to by plywood subfloor of my house.
