Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Nov 10, 2015 8:13 pm Hello everyone, Has anybody from Perth done drawers under the vanity in the bathroom? Hubby and I are in the process of finalising a builder. We have always wanted drawers as the cupboards are waste of space and often stuff kept in the cupboards are forgotton. All of them are making it a big deal to put drawers under the vanity. Have any of you done drawers? How much did costs? Thanks in advance Re: Drawers under vanity 4Nov 11, 2015 2:21 pm Yes it is custom made. The draws have a bit cut out of them for the drain pipe - I can take a photo when I get home if you like viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: Drawers under vanity 5Nov 17, 2015 1:47 pm It can be easily done but it does cost a lot more to do. The drawers are custom made around the pipes. I am not surprised the builder doesn't want to do it. It can be a pain. There are other drains that can be used. Normally an s bend is used and it takes up heaps of room. Bottle traps take up only the width of one pipe giving you drawer space back. We did. If the basin inset or the trap is sideways there is less space within the vanity… 4 1476 Transform your bathroom into a sanctuary of calm and sophistication with Hera Bathware's Bathroom Vanity Collection.
