Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Loud shower drain 3Sep 17, 2015 11:32 pm rebuilder86 this is usually an issue when the shower drain is also the central trap for the bathroom aswell. Have a look down it with a torch and see if it has water sitting at the bottom. If it does then this is the issue. Not a lot you can do, perhaps if it is a stainless steel grate, untwist it and get someone to TIG-weld a deflector cone to the bottom of it, which directs water to the outside walls of the trap and then runs down, rather than rnning straight into the pool of water at the bottom like a waterfall. Thank you! I will check it out. Ain't that the truth! We used to have a tile roof and had it replaced with colorbond and suddenly everything throughout the entire house sounds louder! 4 6704 Yeah mine about 9 metres long and 8 wide with slope of 25% at one point but the end point of the outlet is past the side of garage and if he concretes allowing for… 4 4548 Agreed. I just found out today the certifier has not given the final sign off. 2 4096 |
